Club repeaters

K5UFO Marcus, W5NJK Scott, and W5PCA Paul have generously donated various repeaters, antennas and towers in the effort to get better coverage in Montague, County. At present, MCARC has two active repeaters - 147.320 and 442.650 both with 192.8 PL tones. These repeaters are located in the central and south of the county giving us communications redundancy for emergency and routine situations. Thanks Marcus, Scott, and Paul for your generosity.

KI5CHB tower

KI5CHB Mike Davis has loaned the Club the top of his 60' tower for our repeater antenna. Now we can hit most if not all of the Montague County.  Thanks Mike.

K5EAG tower

K5EAG Bill hosts the 442.650 repeater on his tower in Bowie. This allows coverage in the 70cm band for most all of the county. A new 50' tower will be erected soon. Stay tuned. Thanks Bill.

AD8DX, K5DXD and K3RRI Echolink

The Echolink Allstar link is hosted by Terry and Kerri at their QTH. This enables distant stations to access the local repeater via the internet. Thanks Terry and Kerri.

Jim AD8DX has provided expert advice on the acquisition of the system. Thanks Jim

Bible Baptist Church

Our new Club meeting location is 1400 Hwy 59N in Bowie, Tx. The fellowship hall is both spacious and a very comfortable meeting room. Thank you Pastor Steve Summers for this great accommodation.
